The Canon 200mm f/1.8 is the fastest 200mm ever made and the longest sub-f/2 lens commercially available. It was discontinued in 2004 and only 8000 were produced. It's not hard to see why it has the nickname "The Eye of Sauron" - its gigantic front element sees all!
Designed for photographic use, this EF version features autofocus and an electronically controlled aperture - but is particularly adept when paired with the C500mkII and its incredible autofocus system. Shoot wide open for ultra thin depth of field and amazing background falloff, without the need for a skilled focus puller!
To our knowledge, we're the only place in the UK with this lens available to rent.
